Downloading Notebook files from the Internet

Windows Platform

When downloading Notebook files from an Internet site, it is best to right-click and use the "save as" option.  Make sure that you specify .notebook as the extension.  If not, sometimes they are downloaded into the ZIP file format. 

MAC Platform

When downloading Notebook files from an Internet site on a MAC, they are sometimes downloaded into the ZIP file format.  If so, from the "Get Info" label, rename the file to a .notebook extension.

Senteo Software Version

When you load the Senteo software on your computer, make sure that you are loading the version that is compatible with your version of Notebook software.  For example, if you are running v10 of Notebook, ensure that you are loading the version of Senteo for v10 Notebook and not v9.7

One symptom of loading incompatible versions is that your new v10 notebook files revert to v9.7 notebooks after being saved.
