CyberDuck is our approved FTP client. Translation: It's what you're supposed to use to upload web pages you create IF you aren't using a dot Mac account. Atomic Learning won't help you, but CyberDuck will!
We have requested that Atomic Learning create a tutorial.
I want to start an orchestra website. What is the best program on my MacBook for doing this and how do I get hosting for it? Do we have .mac accounts through the district? I would rather create my own site than use Typepad, so any suggestions will be helpful.

iWeb is great for creating websites. Dot Mac accounts are the easiest way to host a site. Cost is $99 and is not paid for by the district. You can purchase space through a traditional host, but you'll need to use ftp (CyberDuck) to upload a file folder and will lose some of the advanced functionalities allowed with a Dot Mac account.
Considering all the other things included in a Dot Mac account, it's a great service for an extracurricular program.
