  • Color   Allows you to adjust the hue and saturation.  You can use this feature to correct pictures with colors that are tinted or dull.
  • Crop   Allows you to crop out unwanted parts of a picture. You can use this feature to correct pictures that contain distracting elements.
  • Rotate and Flip   Allows you to rotate pictures or flip them on the current axis of the picture. You can use this feature to correct pictures that you have taken sideways for a portrait orientation.
  • Red eye removal   Allows you to remove the red from your picture subjects' eyes caused by the camera's flash. You can use this feature to correct red eyes wherever they appear.

GPB/Video Streaming Website

GPB/Discovery Education (unitedstreaming) - Video Resource

Video_3

Discovery Education ( unitedstreaming) is the comprehensive K-12 library of digital video resources that have been available to CCSD teachers for 3 years.  These resources are provided for Georgia schools through Georiga Pubic Broadcasting.  The site is located at:

http://gpb.unitedstreaming.com

There are several new features of GPB united streaming, along with a new process for logging into the site to access the videoes.  Each teacher must create an individual username and password, which will provide capabilities to utilize some exciting new features.  The process for creating your username and password will require a passcode.  You can obtain your passcode from your local media specialist.

Please remember that this is a teacher resource.  This passcode is to be used only by the teachers and staff at your school to establish an individual teacher account.

Download the following Quick Start User Guide retrieved from the website on 10/30/2006. Download QuickstartGPB.pdf . This guide will cover the following topics:
